Hi! You've just arrived at
the Home Page of

Ian, Marie and Philippe

You are are visitor

since 98 January 05

We live in the City of Yellowknife, the capital of the Northwest Territories
(which used to occupy the northern half of Canada)

In case you haven't heard the recent news from the NWT;
We split into 2 territories on April 1, 1999.
There is now the Western Arctic (still called the NWT)
and
Nunavut (Inuit for 'Our Land')
click here for the latest news about the division.

Most people are surprised to discover that the city of Yellowknife
is a very vibrant and modern place.
We even have a half dozen buildings over 8 floors
and a suburban area.
If you'd like to see a picture of the city as it appears as you approach the airport,

We have the best of both worlds
The wilderness is just outside the back door,
and Tim Horton's and Wal Mart are just down the street!

Who are these people, anyway?

Alien 1984 - 1998  She was my little companion for 14 years.
I still miss her.

Oh,  If I had a nickel for every day wasted,
By everyone trying to install and run,
Computer software for work or fun . . .
Hey, wait a minute . . .
Bill Gates already has!
